not complying with the city’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate, nearly 160 San Diego police officers could face termination

Somewhere around 160 San Diego cops could confront end for not following the city’s COVID-19 vaccination command except if they keep the guidelines inside the following 30 days.

City employees were needed to show evidence of vaccination or solicitation a clinical or strict exception by Wednesday of this current week. The City Council, in a couple of 8-1 votes Monday, pushed ahead with forcing the order in spite of a stalemate with the police union.

Around 65% of officials were vaccinated as of Thursday, as per the city’s most recent figures. The rest of 616 officials who revealed that they were unvaccinated and 64 who hadn’t gave their vaccination status.

Approximately 454 officials mentioned an exception, as indicated by the city. That implies that, as of this current week, somewhere around 160 officials were unvaccinated and didn’t demand an exception.
