The Santa Monica Tunnel will be closed overnight for renovations from January

SANTA MONICA — The tunnel that associates the 10 Freeway to Pacific Coast Highway is booked to close expedite for updates beginning the principal seven day stretch of January, Caltrans declared Friday.

The McClure Tunnel, alongside close by slopes, will be briefly closed down during the work, which will traverse a mile of the interstate between Lincoln Boulevard and the PCH Broadway Pedestrian Overpass.

The overhaul work is set to start the primary seven day stretch of 2021 and finish in spring, as per Caltrans. No particular dates were noted.

The slopes are required to close between 7 p.m. furthermore, 6 a.m., yet Caltrans didn’t determine when the overnight conclusion of the tunnel would begin and end. Terminations could likewise change contingent upon the climate.
