The Mission San Juan Capistrano was damaged when vandals damaged doors to get into the grounds

-

The Mission San Juan Capistrano was harmed early Friday when miscreants harmed ways to get into the grounds, sheriff’s authorities announced.

At about 3:30 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Department got a call about a robbery at the mission where various hoodlums broke in.

“In view of reconnaissance video, it’s presumed that the subjects are adolescents,” the Sheriff’s Department said in an explanation to media. “Each endeavor will be made to recognize the subjects.”

Sheriff’s Investigators and Crime Lab reacted to the robbery to help with the continuous investigation.

Anybody with data is approached to contact San Juan Police Services agents at 949-443-6369 or unknown tips can be submitted to OC Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS or occrimestoppers.org.
