Teams Sunday were at the scene in Malibu where one individual has been discovered dead after a structure fire that spread to brush.

Two others were harmed in the fire, which began around 3:30 a.m. at a home at Rambla Pacifico Street north of the Pacific Coast Highway. The flares at that point spread to brush. At its tallness, 200 firemen were called to smother the burst.

“It came in as an announced structure fire. At the point when units appeared on scene, they found a two story home that was all around engaged with fire, with fire spread into the brush,” Sean Ferguson, a public information officer with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Ferguson said the fire spread to around four sections of land, taking note of that firemen have since had the option to stop its spread.

“Fortunately, we had the option to stop that forward spread before it affected close by homes too,” he said. “We do have one affirmed casualty inside the home too.”

Of the harmed, one individual was moved to the hospital with consume wounds. Another was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The L.A. District Sheriff’s Department is researching the death and says there were no conspicuous indications of treachery.
