LA launches new public dashboard to track city finances in a timely manner

Angelenos can watch how the city of Los Angeles deals with its finances because of another dashboard which dispatched Thursday.

The dashboard incorporates the General and the Reserve Fund balances, city salaries and extra time, and budget revenues and uses, city Controller Ron Galperin unveiled.

“Within L.A. City Finances” dashboard comes not exactly seven days before L.A. financial year 2021-22 starts, with a noteworthy $11.2 billion budget, including almost $1 billion to battle the vagrancy emergency.

On the dashboard, individuals can follow:

General Fund month to month balances

Day by day equilibrium of each fund constrained by the city

Hold Fund month to month balances

Budget breakdown

Income got by the city

Finance costs, including salaries and additional time

Cash spent by the city

When the financial year starts, budget information will be refreshed on the dashboard.
