Unvaccinated teenagers have been bound to test positive for the Covid than unvaccinated adults in Los Angeles County, officials said.

The pattern shows how a gathering less inclined to have been inoculated in the country’s most crowded county is assuming an outsize part in proceeding with transmission of the profoundly contagious Delta variation.

“The most noteworthy case rates have been among unvaccinated adolescents, who were multiple times almost certain than immunized youngsters to test positive for COVID and are significant drivers of transmission across our communities,” L.A. County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said in a new preparation.

Beforehand, health officials had noticed that it was more youthful adults who were probably going to get the Covid.
