Curative labs stop corona virus testing at LA County-backed pop-up testing sites

-

Days after the Food and Drug Administration cautioned that a Covid test made by Curative Labs in San Dimas can uncover bogus negatives, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said it will end its utilization at region upheld spring up testing destinations.

General Health authorities said in an assertion on Sunday that the change will happen this impending week.

The area says the choice came after an audit of the information that provoked the FDA to give the notice.

Between December 13 and January 2, a little more than 24,000 Curative tests were managed at L.A. Area Covid testing locales.

That was about 10% of all Covid tests during that time.

Curative Labs is shielding its tests, saying that information shows that the organization’s energy rate in California generally concurs with different labs.

Individuals who get a negative Covid test are as yet encouraged to self-segregate for 14 days after openness to the infection or 10 days after manifestations start since they may in any case have Covid and could spread it to other people.
