California state releases new guidance for overnight summer camps

As California expands COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to youngsters between the ages of 12 and 15, the state has delivered new guidance for the time being day camps intended for resuming this June.

The move reflects clearing rules gave Thursday by the U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, which draw a differentiation between the individuals who have been vaccinated and the individuals who have not.

Camps where all staff and participants are completely vaccinated may work with no C suggestions past the state’s current health and safety code, as indicated by the new guidelines.

Camps where some staff individuals and participants are not completely vaccinated — a reasonable situation given that numerous camps offer meetings for little youngsters — should fulfill a variety of guidelines for masking, social distancing and testing, as indicated by the rules.
