Everyone knows the entertainment industry is a tough place. There’s tough competition, and it’s a long way to success. However, for the talented and ambitious Bruna Rubio, the road to stardom was hard but ultimately, successful.
Early Career
From the very beginning, Bruna was no stranger to the industry. Her father was a producer, and therefore, that drive for acting and producing ran in Bruna’s blood. Bruna Rubio’s acting career started when she was just three years old. She starred in TV commercials for big brands, such as Nestle. She also starred in the Spanish version of Sesame Street. Over the course of her career, she also played roles in various campaigns by Pepsi and Vips. All of this gave her a lot of exposure and recognition, and soon, she was getting offers to star in movies.
While still in Spain, Bruno Rubio’s acting career consisted of big shows like Cruz y Raya, Al Salir de Clase, Espejo Secreto, and many more. When Bruna was still 17-years-old, she lost her mother in a tragic car accident. Her mother had big dreams for Bruna, which went beyond just Spain and so, Bruna decided to start a new chapter in her career by going to the U.S.
Moving to the U.S.
She moved to Miami and acted in a few Spanish soaps and then moved to California, where she finally got her big break.
She joined the popular TV show, A Que No Puedes?, as a host, which not only began her show hosting career but also put her name on the map. She interviewed many celebrities, such as Vin Diesel, Kenny G, Will I Am, and more. After that, Bruna started getting offers for various movies, and she played small roles in movies like Barry Munday, Out of Blood, and Night Crew.
After the death of her father, Bruna was inspired to go into production herself. Accordingly, in 2013, she started her own production company by the name of Goldheart Productions. She has produced many short films as well as TV shows that have been nominated in film festivals as well.
Recent Projects
Recently, she signed a deal with Netflix in Spain with Plano a Plano productions to develop a tv series idea based on her short film Vampiras. Along with that, Bruna is also going to be a judge in an upcoming music competition, Cuanto Vale Tu Show.
We are excited to see what Bruna will bring to the table this time around, though, we are pretty sure it’s going to be as mind-blowing as always.
