Teachers at the ABC Unified School District are wanting to stage a “work slowdown” on Monday in the midst of slowed down arrangements over compensations.
The ABC Federation of Teachers says it desires to send the educational committee a solid message by carrying out a “work to rule” technique, which includes having individuals “adhere to the guidelines and hours of their work environment precisely to diminish their effectiveness and result; doing something like their contractual agreement requires.”
The school region has schools in the urban areas of Artesia, Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, and portions of Lakewood, Long Beach and Norwalk.
