Riverside County Thursday held its first in a progression of COVID-19 vaccine centers for first responders.
The occasion was held at the city of Riverside Fire Department’s base camp where around 90 people on call — including paramedics and crisis clinical experts for Riverside City Fire, Riverside County Fire and other nearby offices — got the main portion of the Moderna vaccine.
The principal individual in the gathering to get the vaccine was Riverside city fire Chief Michael Moore, who said his groups would at present be after neighborhood health orders.
“We’re still going to avoid potential risk wearing our defensive gear with the entirety of our veils, gloves and outfits,” he said.
The individuals who got the primary portion Thursday will return in a month to get their subsequent portion.
