Leaders of the push to review California Gov. Gavin Newsom reported Friday that they had gathered the important signatures to get the measure on the ballot.
In an interview on a neighborhood public broadcast, coordinators said they have outperformed the limit of 1.49 million signatures every month in front of the cutoff time.
“We need to disclose to you this, formally around evening time, we are reporting we have 1,509,000 signatures,” Mike Netter, RecallGavin2020 establishing part, said. “Let that hit home briefly California, USA.”
The cutoff time for gathering review signatures is March 17, however the declaration doesn’t mean the review will show up on the ballot.
Each signature should be approved by the state and individual districts to guarantee they are those of qualified citizens.
