Pfizer announced on Friday that it has presented a solicitation to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to extend crisis utilization of their COVID vaccine for kids that are 12 to 15 years old.
Pfizer said 2,260 kids ages 12 to 15 participated in their stage three preliminary. In late March, the company announced that it finished its discoveries on kids in that age range, calling its vaccine 100% successful against COVID-19.
At the present time, their two-shot vaccine is approved for people 16 and older.
