A man drove his car into two workers outside a California COVID-19 vaccination clinic, compelling the clinic to close Sunday, as indicated by neighborhood reports.
The driver showed up at the site at around 4:45 p.m. Saturday and started colliding with cones, signs and employees, Sergeant Dmitry Barkon of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station told news network.
The episode was depicted as an attack with a dangerous weapon, and police accept the driver veered into the workers deliberately.
“One of the workers was getting a sign when they were struck by the vehicle,” Barkon told the station.
The whole fight stayed “non-verbal,” Barkon said, and the expectation stays muddled.
One representative was treated on scene with minor arm wounds while the different was not do any harm, specialists told media.
“We are disheartened by this horrible episode, and our contemplations and petitions are with the individual harmed. Public health is working with neighborhood specialists and the vaccination site has shut as the examination is in progress,” LA County Public Health said in a proclamation to news.
The presume escaped in a gray four-entryway sedan and has not yet been caught.
