There is currently a safer method to go across a bustling street in Glassell Park.
On Tuesday morning, Los Angeles city workers got done with putting in new glimmering beacons at Avenue 35 and Eagle Rock Boulevard.
There was at that point a crosswalk set up, yet now people on foot can press a catch and lights will blaze to caution drivers to stop.
The zone is known for speeding. Indeed, even with the new lights, media saw one lady who needed to trust that a vehicle will go while strolling through the crosswalk.
The expectation is that drivers will focus and back off for walkers.
