Hot Dog on a Stick will commend its 75th anniversary on Saturday, April 24, with 75-penny “Original Turkey Dogs” at all partaking areas.
The hot dog stand, which was established on Muscle Beach in Santa Monica in 1946, is known for its famous striped garbs, hot dogs, and “hand-stepped” lemonade.
“While it’s difficult to know exactly the number of individuals we have served over our inconceivable 75-year history, the imprint Hot Dog on a Stick has made in the hearts and lives of our clients and Hotdoggers (at various times) is clear,” said the company’s chief marketing officer Annica Conrad.
“Hot Dog on a Stick is tied in with appreciating life without limit and gaining enduring experiences. We trust everybody goes along with us on April 24th to praise our mind blowing ride and have a good time,” she said.
Hot Dog on a Stick’s established, Dave Barham, utilized his mom’s cornbread formula to make the now-popular dog on a stick and developed the idea from the beach to county fairs to shopping centers.
