Another winter storm has at long last advanced toward Southern California Monday.
Albeit not generally so strong as the weather systems that brought a few crawls of rain to the area in December, Monday’s storm will bring a few dispersed showers.
One storm occurred before dawn as our own Eric Spillman was outside of Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood to see Monday’s Rams season finisher game.
The rain soaked the parking garage as vehicles sprinkled by the drive-through window around 6 a.m.
Showers will stay in the estimate over the course of the day Monday, with dispersed rain still possible into Tuesday morning.
The storm is simply expected to bring somewhere in the range of .10 and .25 inches of rain for most regions, as indicated by the National Weather Service.
Forecasters are requiring a 5 to 10 degree cool down in temperatures across the locale. Snow levels are probably going to stay over the 7,500-foot level.
Dry conditions return Tuesday evening and proceed for the remainder of the week.
Evening temperatures are relied upon to move once more into the 70s downtown by Thursday.
