Firefighters were engaging two wildfires starting from the earliest stage the sky Thursday evening.
One wildfire in the space of Valle Del Oro and Newhall Avenue in Santa Clarita, dubbed the Jake Fire, developed to about an acre and a half by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, as indicated by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters added that the fire was running uphill in light fuel.
Firefighters expected to thump down both the fires rapidly as the winds were calm.
By 5 p.m, firefighters said positive headway of the Jake Fire in the space of Valle Del Oro and Newhall Avenue in Santa Clarita had been halted.
No constructions were harmed and no wounds were accounted for.
The reason for the fires is as yet being scrutinized.
