Reverberation Park Lake returned to the public Wednesday, two months in the wake of being shut for fixes following the evacuation of around 200 unhoused inhabitants.
“It looks stunning,” one neighbor said. “It looks totally lovely.”
Councilman Mitch O’Farrell, who experienced harsh criticism during the work to put park occupants into elective lodging, was among quick to stroll into the park when it returned at 3 p.m. He was immediately encircled by a group of destitute backers, some of whom recited “Disgrace on Mitch,” while others required his renunciation.
