A Stearman biplane crashed Saturday evening, around 7:25 p.m., close to the 101 and 33 Freeways. Examiners say the plane flipped over in the wake of arriving in a field with two individuals on board. Nor were harmed in the accident.
Obviously, the pilot announced engine difficulty prior to making a crisis arrival close to 800 West Main Street in Ventura, as indicated by Ian Gregor, a public undertakings expert with the Federal Aviation Administration.
